The CPM was created on the basis of a sanitary and epidemiological station in accordance with the Regulations on the Center for Preventive Medicine of the State Institution "TMA of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Zhytomyr Region" and is a health care institution SI "TMA of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Zhytomyr region". The work is provided by 6 specialists, among which 3 doctors in the highest category, 1 Assistant epidemiologist of the highest category, 1 laboratory assistant with chemical-bacteriological research of the highest category and 1 younger sister. Objects of supervision are territorial authorities of the police, institutions and divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, divisions of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Main activities:
implementation of health measures (organizational, anti-epidemic and preventive) in order to prevent the spread of infectious diseases;
implementation of state sanitary and epidemiological supervision at the subordinate territory, protection of the health of police, workers of the territorial police and units, institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, NGU military personnel, the Ministry of Internal Affairs Pensioners and their families;
carrying out bacteriological laboratory studies as well for fee.
