On July 15, within the framework of a working visit to the Zhytomyr region, the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevgeny Yenin and Director of the Department of Health and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anatoly Smyk examined the conditions for treatment and rehabilitation of wounded police and National Guards. During the meeting, departmental awards were awarded law enforcement officers and servicemen who are currently on treatment, as well as medical staff of the institution.

- During the treatment of the wounded, we do not share whether it is a fighter of the Ministry of Defense, the National Guard, or the police, or a rescuer. For us all are equal, all of them are our heroes, who should be surrounded by maximum attention and respect by society, - said Yevgeny Yinin.

Representatives of the Department of Rehabilitation Treatment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Zhytomyr region introduced the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs with the conditions of stay of wounded soldiers and modern therapeutic capabilities of the institution.

Currently, two police and six of the National Guard soldiers are undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in the medical departments. All of them were injured in the course of combat missions in the conditions of military danger both in eastern Ukraine and directly in Zhytomyr region.

Visitors personally turned them out and asked for health.

- We are cheering for our colleagues, for all defenders who today defend Ukraine. Thanks to the doctors, I hope to recover as much as possible to quickly return to the combat line, - says the senior police sergeant Nicholas.

Representatives of the Zhytomyr region, the National Guard, as well as the medical staff, who directly work with our wounded heroes, received departmental honors and thanks to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
